After-School Program Model:


            After-school programs are targeted to school age children K-12. We provide high-quality after-school experience which consist of academic enrichment, arts learning and physical education. Our After-school program has kept thousands of children safe and productive during high-risk afterschool hours. As of 2013, this model was suspended to incorporate new program approach and evidence- based- practices. The board of directors and administration are set to restart this model and currently reviewing funding for these programs e.g., DYCD Beacon RFP, DYCD COMPASS, etc.… Please continue to visit our website for updated information regarding after-school programs




Core Program Components: 

   Academic enhancement-   Academic Instructional Service Academy (AISA): tutoring, reading/English & math instructions and LAB on Saturdays - Homework assistance & tutoring during the week after-school starting from 3:00 p.m.

   Leadership development training - Job readiness & career development, Civics & justice, Financial management, Behavior modification, etc.… during the week after-school starting from 5:30 p.m.



   Recreation & Cultural- Basketball & softball tournaments, Arts & craft, Chess, Games, Step & dance competitions & Shows and other related activities during the week after-school starting from 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays.

   Grassroots & Outreach Initiatives – events & shows, trips & tournaments and community meetings.
